unlike the store bought dense cakes, REAL panettone is light, sweet, airy and very rich. This sourdough delight takes expert precision and over 60 hours of work to produce a single batch. It is worth every minute.
Traditionally panettone is made with candied citrus and raisin, with vanilla or chocolate. At Terroir bakery we once again turn to local sources for inspiration. Thanks to our amazing network of farmers we have landed on a delicious combination of ingredients. This year, we are featuring Ontario Hazelnuts (thanks Amanda!) and brown butter.
