THE BENCHMARK.
a constantly evolving blend of local grains , Canadian salt , and water. Featured in this loaf is a base of bread flour grown by local Mennonite farms around Howick, Ontario. In addition, whole grains from Ironwood Organics (Gananoque, ON) & Stone milled Rye from 1847 Stone Milling (Fergus, ON)
This bread is mixed and ferments very slowly for 36-48 hours yielding a supreme flavor , texture and digestibility.
Ingredients: a Blend of freshly milled Ontario Wheat Flours,Rye, Canadian Sea Salt, Water, Wild Yeast Culture
It couldn't be better. It is the best.
Our family got hooked on Terroir's Sourdough in the summer at the Hespeler Village Market and are so happy that we can support them throughout the year at their pickup location.

Hello! I tried your sourdough for the first time on Saturday and was a little disappointed. It looks pretty and has good flavour, but the loaf was a bit burnt on top and quite burnt on the bottom, to the point that I wasn't able to serve it to guests for dinner. I do hope to try again; I am a huge fan of sourdough and also of supporting local entrepreneurs.
